Subject: [PATCH] remove_config_library
This patch eliminates the `configure_library` function from `setup.py`.
Key modifications:
- Removed reliance on the configure script execution within the Python
setup process. This decision follows the advice to handle
configuration preemptively on the host system, which is better suited
to address the custom feature detection implemented in the htslib
configure script.
By avoiding reconfiguration during the Python setup, this change helps
to circumvent issues where the htslib configure script's feature
detection does not interact well with emscripten's compilation
environment. Consequently, this patch leads to a more predictable build
process by relying on the host system's pre-configuration and patches
directly applied to the build script for pysam.
