Charles Merriam d4bbe754bc Add doc/sources/examples/README file. 
I noticed that having only generated files in the directory, the build
would fail as the directory would never be created.  So, more docs.
Added as part of the gallery project.

This directory contains generated files.
   index.rst = For the navigation sidebar submenu.
   gallery.rst = the main gallery page
   gen__*.rst = generated detail pages for each example with a screenshot in ../images/examples
