From 08e7295ef8492bcf88dda45b15953bbb4d35914d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tim Peters Date: Tue, 16 Apr 2002 20:48:01 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Windows installer: disabled Wise's "delete in-use files" uninstall option. It was the cause of at least one way UNWISE.EXE could vanish (install a python; uninstall it; install it again; reboot the machine; abracadabra the uinstaller is gone). Bugfix candidate, but I'll backport it myself. --- Misc/NEWS | 4 ++++ PCbuild/python20.wse | 11 ++++++++++- 2 files changed, 14 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/Misc/NEWS b/Misc/NEWS index a1f5f54155c..35d72483a24 100644 --- a/Misc/NEWS +++ b/Misc/NEWS @@ -184,6 +184,10 @@ Tests Windows +- Sometimes the uninstall executable (UNWISE.EXE) vanishes.
